Lead Frontend Engineer

What you’ll be doing:


  • Take ownership of all lifecycles of product creation from the initial proposal, through planning and implementation, all the way to release and maintenance
  • Work with the latest and greatest technologies both on the web and infrastructure side, a few examples include: TypeScript, Vue, React, Redux, Next.JS, Vite, AWS, Kubernetes, CodeFresh, GitHub Actions, and many more
  • Mentor others on your team, help your teammates complete their tasks on time and to high-quality standards
  • Be a part of the emerging open source culture, dedicate your time to working on open source software
  • Spearhead and drive initiatives to improve the development experience of all engineers within the organization
  • Maintaining build processes and tooling to improve the throughput of frontend engineers
  • Join the Frontend Community, where you’ll be adding to our growing team of frontend experts with opportunities to learn, grow and share your knowledge
  • Work with some of the best tools available, such as Notion, Jira Cloud, GitHub, Zoom, Lattice, and Slack


We're looking for someone who has:


  • High proficiency in TypeScript application development
  • Experience with React, including hooks, Suspense, and concurrent mode OR experience with Vue.js
  • Knowledge of modular software architecture, including microservices and micro frontends
  • Excellence in mentoring, helping other developers with time and task management, priority management, and resolving dependencies
  • Experience writing thorough and useful tests
  • Ant Design - is the design system and component library we’re using, but it’s easy to pick up, as long as you have experience using a design system, such as Material Design, Bootstrap, Semantic UI, Blueprint, Fluent UI, Grommet, Shards, Chakra UI, OnsenUI, etc
  • History of creating and maintaining build tools and toolchains to improve DX
  • Attention to detail and eagerness to deliver quality products
  • Knowledge of best practices, patterns, and understanding of key principles of developing software
  • Understanding performance optimization practices and application of techniques to optimize applications
  • Be a team player, we’re stronger together


Bonus points for:


  • Experience in the betting/gaming industry
  • Experience developing back-office applications, such as dashboards and CRUD systems with complex data models
  • Experience creating applications with high-frequency, low-latency data changes
  • Experience managing teams of 5+ developers
  • Proven track record of being able to navigate complicated domains and business requirements
  • History of good relationships with users and managers in a collaborative effort to improve the quality of software
